I’m not one to set resolutions because I never stick to them…most like everyone else who sets them! If we really want to set realistic resolutions or goals, you can set your mind and body to accomplish these any day of the year honestly.
This is not a resolution, but starting this month and moving forward, I want to breathe life back into my website design and online marketing practice. I’ve been basically working part-time these past couple of years, working mainly from referred clients and it has suited me well financially, but I really, really want to dive back into a full practice. I have SO much to offer and I have all these new ideas rolling around in my head where I can offer new programs, new products and consult with current and new clients. Not to mention I want to blog again! By no means I’m a good writer, but when I set my mind to it, I do like to write and share articles on my expertise. Besides, blogging is a great way to gain visibility and drive traffic to your site anyhow. Anyone that has an online presence should have a blog.
In case you didn’t know, I just redesigned my website and I LOVE it! It still needs a bit of tweaking on my Service offering pages, but I’ll continue to update until I feel it’s 100% done.
With that said, I do look forward to what’s to come personally and professionally and I will be blogging everyday in January as part of the Ultimate Blog Challenge. By participating, I am committing to write 31 articles in 31 days as a jump-start to driving traffic to my website again. If you’ve never participated or heard of the Ultimate Blog Challenge, it’s a lot of fun. You blog, you post on the UBC Facebook group your daily articles and you also read other blog posts and comment. It’s a great way to connect with other business owners and gain visibility. You never know…you may gain a client or two in the process! If nothing else, your readers can gain value from what you write. That’s my goal for the month of January. Can’t wait to see what the rest of my year looks like personally and professionally!
